About this Blog

I started this blog in 2015, when I was recruiting for HRBPs for the Tech department of big e-commerce company I worked for,  and this activity really made me think of the role that a HRBP should play in a fast-growing, agile organization, obsessed by delivering customer value. Or in any organization that need to continuously change, learn, adapt and deliver in this VUCA world!

What a ride! I never had the luxury to stop and reflect on how my job evolved since I started working and how much I did change since then. As a person but especially as a HR professional.

I always had a pretty clear vision of the role of HR in a company, the impact and value it brings to the business and to employees, the way it operates to achieve this and the role of the HRBP in it. But then I started writing the Job spec and I realize that this certainty and my initial beliefs actually changed. The competences and the mindset needed changed. What an epiphany!

That’s why I’ve started this blog: to share my thoughts, ideas and experience that may inspire my fellow HR colleagues out there. And to hear from everyone who likes to contribute to shape the new role of HR in continuous changing and dynamic workplaces.
